This plugin combines a simple, no-frills subset of the features of some of our other plugins into a simple-to-use mastering suite that makes your mix sound polished and finished with a few simple tweaks.
Unlike plugins such as Logic’s “Mastering Assistant”, you can individually enable or disable each processing step, giving you full control of how your audio is processed.
Features
- Bass Cohesion - enhances and brings consistency to low frequencies, giving your mix a solid “big bottom”
- Detail - enhances midrange frequencies, bringing out detail and clarity
- Sparkle - enhances high frequencies, bringing out the shimmer of cymbals and opening up the mix
- Limiter - a gain-compensating limiter that transparently limits transients and brings up the overall volume of the mix
- Parallel Compression - compresses the mix and mixes that back in, at a settable amount, to give your mix consistent dynamics and a fuller feel
- Presence - adds an optional upper-mids boost
- Mid Scoop - pulls back the midrange frequencies that can make a mix sound muddy
- Transient Taming - augments the limiter with our proprietary “punchifier” algorithm to further boost overall mix volume without sounding heavily processed or clipped
This plugin combines some of the things you can do with our Zen Limiter, Zen Punchifier, and Zen Curvifier plugins, along with features specific to making a mix sound its best.
